It is one of those moments that you will never forget – waking at the sound of the hull ripping through gentle wave, you look around your glamorous room, lavished with exquisite items reminiscent of the Five-Star hotels you have been to back in Los Angeles, you smell the sumptuous aroma of the breakfast you have ordered from the concierge. You start walking along the carpeted lobby towards the deck. Standing on the deck at dawn, feeling the cool breeze of the Atlantic winds brushing against your skin, watching the sunrise above the crystal blue blanket of the never-ending ocean and listening to the soft and gentle roar of the sea, you realize that this has been the best luxurious vacation you’ve been to.
Caroline had been waiting for this moment ever since she booked for this luxury tour weeks ago. And now she is enjoying a brief experience that she will remember for the rest of her entire life.
She is still on the deck, watching the whales do their peculiar dances, doing unusual back flips and tail-waving at the spectators in the ship deck. Although the ship has its maximum passengers on board, the crowd is not that big. “This is a plus,” Caroline thought. These premium cruises avoid large crowds as much as possible in order to provide optimum service and comfort for their passengers. “This is what a vacation really means: comfort and tranquility,” she added. She starts walking back to her suite to change into a swimwear as she planned to bask under the sun in one of the onboard pools of the ship.
Among the selection of available tours her consultant showed, she chose the premium tour to the Carribean Sea and chose the Azamara cruise line as her ship. The Azamara cruise line is on the most premium cruise there is. Its name, Azamara is derived from the Romance languages: az, which means blue and mar which refers to the sea. The name also has its origins from the name of a star, the Acamar. During Classical/Rennaissance period, the star Acamar was the brightest star in the southern hemisphere that are normally viewed from Greece. In this context, the Azamara Cruise line is so called as it represents a star in the sea.
There are 42 suites onboard the cruise line, including six penthouse suites measuring 560 square feet each. Caroline got one of these penthouse suites where she enjoyed complimentary welcome bottle of champagne on her arrival, and two nights of complimentary dining in any of the specialty restaurants onboard the ship. She plans to eat in one of those fine-dining with the Italian theme at dinner. But for now, she will first relax in the pool side to set the moods up for tonight.
After the relaxing dip and a satisfactory tan, Caroline went to the restaurants and had a light lunch complemented with free tastes to premium wines available on deck. She went to the casino afterwards just to relax.

Night has fallen. She went outside to gaze upon the bright twinkling of the stars above. She had never seen so many stars in her entire life back in her busy life in the metropolitan. After all that star gazing and light chat with the other passengers on deck, she went to the Italian restaurant she planned to dine at. And she was amazed on how the food taste and how the ambience was put to life by an onboard entertainment.
Back at the comfort of her own suite, she tries to catch her sleep while watching shows on her flat screen television. She felt tired, but also thankful that these types of luxury travels are within people’s reach. Tomorrow, she plans on relaxing on some of the spas and winning that jackpot on the casino.
