Passengers have a fight in a limousine by Amar Shah
A limousine company had recently done a job in Bristol where they picked up some lads in the early morning to go to a football match in London, when the chauffeur got out of the H2 hummer limousine; he looked at the passengers and none of them could even stand properly. The chauffeur gave the passengers a quick run through the limousine on what button does what and how to use the light system. The passengers then asked the chauffeur if it was alright if they could bring some of their own alcohol on board. The chauffeur didn’t decline as he thought that the boys had drunk more than enough and that they would probably fall asleep on the way to London. This was not the case, as soon as the passengers got in they started pumping the music very load, remember this was early morning and you could see the milk men doing their daily duties.
The chauffeur then asked the passengers to calm down a bit as the music was too load that the chauffeur could not think, he also pleaded for the passenger to not mess around with the electrics as it can get damaged. The passengers calmed down a bit as the chauffeur stopped off at a service station he then gave them a quick chat on not getting too drunk as they had not reached London and that they would not be able to get in to the stadium. As they got back in to the limousine, one of the passengers had a bottle of vodka tucked in to his jacket which the chauffeur had not seen.
As the hummer limousine got on the motorway the chauffeur had put the privacy screen up so that he did not get distracted by the passengers. After a few minutes the chauffeur heard screams in the back as if there was a fight, he then pressed a button for the privacy screen to go down and he could not believe what he saw.
The passengers were all fighting with each other, bottles were being thrown from one side of the limousine to the other, lava lamps were smashed on the floor and blood was dripping from some of the passengers faces. The chauffeur had no choice but to pull up on the hard shoulder of the motorway and stop the fight. He got all of the passengers out of the limousine and confiscated all the alcohol in the vehicle.
This made the passengers very unhappy and they subsequently started to fight with the chauffeur. The chauffeur was obviously quite distressed as he felt threatened by the passengers. He therefore decided his only option would have been to eject the passengers and leave them on the motorway. Fortunately the passengers started to calm down and they came to an agreement that they would not drink any more alcohol. After this, the chauffeur decided that he would move on and get the lads to London in time for their football match.
Once they got to London the chauffeur stopped at the football stadium and all the passengers poured out of the H2 hummer limousine. Scotland is without a doubt one of the most beautiful parts of the British Isles. Its soaring mountains and wild, windswept moors are a haven for climbers and walkers, and an inspiration to countless writers and artists through the years. But, for the millions of backpackers who visit the country every year, it's the sheer vibrancy of its big cities that really makes the trip so rewarding.
Edinburgh
Edinburgh Castle looms high above the city on its rock. Lit up at night, it's one of the world's most impressive landmarks. Where things get really interesting, though, is down in the city below.
Whilst the Edinburgh Festival is the major draw for travelers (with Hogmanay coming hot on its heels!), there's rarely a bad time to go to Edinburgh. From the narrow streets of the Old Town to the grand Georgian terraces of the New Town, it's a city packed with history and culture.
On the accommodation front, Edinburgh hostels are amongst the best out there. The Globetrotter Inn and High Street hostel are just a couple of the cheap accommodation options the city has to offer. Budget Backpackers and Castle Rock Hostel, with its staggering views of the castle, are another couple of great places.
Glasgow
Glasgow often gets a bit of a bad press when compared with Edinburgh. Like Edinburgh, though, the city is a mixture of architectural styles. Although it might not be quite as easy on the eye as the capital, striking modern buildings sit side by side with their fine Victorian counterparts.
But where the city really stands out is in its wide array of world-class art galleries and museums. Toss a fantastic nightlife into the mix, and the result is an outstanding all-round backpacking destination.
For cheap places to stay, the city doesn't have such a massive choice as Edinburgh. Glasgow hostels do, however, continue to pull in the travelers, and send them off again delighted with their stay in the city.

It may not have the must-see monuments of Edinburgh, or the world-renowned galleries of Glasgow but it has a pleasant, understated charm of its own. Nearby, there's Loch Ness (with its shy resident!) and the atmospheric Urquhart Castle on its shores...
When it comes to places to stay, the choice is essentially between Bazpackers, the Inverness Student Hotel and, right next to the bus station, the Inverness Tourist Hostel. All have their strong points: Inverness hostels obviously aren't as big as those in Edinburgh or Glasgow for a start. As a result of this, you get just that bit more contact with the staff which helps create a homely feel.

However, on 4th of May 1954, this urban region gained the ranks of municipal borough that later went on to be London Borough of Harrow. Harrow is in fact located in the North West parts of London and borders Hertfordshire. This region is quite near by to the most famous West End in London. Harrow is well known for the prestigious Harrow Boys School which was founded in the year 1572. Why Is Valletta, Malta, Famous?
The history of Valletta, the historic and well preserved capitol of Malta, is entwined with that of the Knights of Malta. Alternatively these knights were called the Sovereign Military Order Of Malta (SMOM), and officially called the Sovereign Military Hopsitaller Order Of St. John Of Jerusalem, Of Rhodes And Of Malta because Rhodes and Malta were at one time their base. They were expelled from Rhodes in 1522, and were given Malta in 1530 by Charles V of Spain, who was also King of Sicily.
In 1565 they were besieged, and nearly routed, but eventually held off the army of the Ottoman, Suleiman. However, their cities were destroyed, and the decision was made to build a new city, Valletta, on they Xiberras peninsula. Building began in 1566. It was named after their 'Grand Master' who had held off the invaders during the siege.

There are a range of hotels in Valletta. You can even find some bargains overlooking the Grand Harbor from 35 euros per night. There is actually cheaper accommodation to suit the more budget conscious - whilst not as close to the town center, prices start from only 11 euros.
Of course, there are more luxurious properties, quite reasonably priced - four star hotels priced from 48 euros, 5 star hotels anywhere from 63 euros, and nice boutique hotels from 75 euros. Sightseeing in Valletta
Valletta was declared a World Heritage site in 1980 by UNESCO, and a walk through the historic buildings shows why. The city is mostly Baroque in style, although you can see a neo-classical influence in some areas. Many of the original palaces are now used variously as government buildings, shops, and museums. For example, the Magisterial Palace of the Grandmaster is where parliament currently sits. It is open to the public when not in session. And the Auberge de Castille is now the home of the Maltese Prime Minister. One rather beautiful resiendece is the Casa Rocca Piccola, which is one of the few palaces still used as a home by members of the Maltese nobility. It is also open to the public, and is in good condition.
With such a history of battles lost and won, it is no wonder Valletta has some great displays of full suits of armor, guns and other arms, going as far back as the 15th century. You can find these at the Grandmaster's Palace Armoury Museum. Some of the contents of the armory were taken to the UK in the 1850's, however, the collection is still impressive.
For military buffs, there is also the Malta War Museum in the Fort Saint Elmo, itself a significant building. This museum covers Maltese military history from the 1800's onwards, including World War II.
As well as having many palaces, Valletta has a number of richly decorated churches. These include the St Paul's Anglican Cathedral, the St Francis of Assisi Church, and probably the most opulent, St. John's Co-Cathedral.

How to get to Drumcondra...

By train: Drumcondra Railway Station reopened in 1998 as a station on the Maynooth/Longford commuter line. Connolly Station Dublin is approximately 2km from the Drumcondra area.
Dublin Airport to Drumcondra: The 16 or 16A bus will take you from Dublin Airport to Drumcondra Station. Buses run almost every 20 minutes.

The finals of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship and All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship are played in the stadium in September every year. And as well as holding musical concerts by international artists and Irish legends such as U2, in 2007 Croke Park opened up it's gates to rugby and soccer Internationals for home teams.

The Writers Museum is a restored Georgian building on Parnell Square has magnificent plasterwork in the first floor Gallery of Writers. Exhibitions, lunchtime theatre, bookshops and café make this museum an essential visit for zealots of Dublin's literary past. The Helix Theatre: The Helix is a multi-venue arts centre which opened in 2002, providing the people of Drumcondra and beyond with a mixture of fantastic quality music, entertainment and drama. It's part of Dublin City University and has three different venues in one, The Mahony Hall, The Space and The Theatre. Each auditorium attracts diverse performers from around Ireland and the world. Dame Kiri Ta Kanawa, Brian Kennedy, Lou Reed, Van Morrison, Sinead O'Connor have all performed there, along with plays by Dublin novelist Roddy Doyle, writer of the Commitments and The Woman who Walked into Doors.
The O2 (Formerly Point Theatre): The O2 is an events centre in North Dublin. It was one of Ireland's largest indoor concert arenas, with a seating capacity of up to 8,500. After its redevelopment, the capacity will be over 13,000. Over the years it has not only served as a venue for many different varieties of concerts by diverse acts such as David Bowie, Pearl Jam, REM, Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, and the Smashing Pumpkins, but it has also been transformed into an ice rink, a boxing arena, an exhibition centre, a wrestling ring, a theatre, an opera house and a circus. It will officially be re-opened in December 2008, with top bands Coldplay and the Kings of Leon being the headline acts over the 2008 Festive Season.

Both the River Tolka and the Royal Canal flow through Drumcondra, there are 4 colleges located in the area, namely All Hallows College, Mater Dei Institute of Education, St. Patrick's College and Dublin City University (DCU), it's where you'll find Bertie Aherne, former Irish Taoiseach, and it's only a hop, skip and a jump from Croker (Croke Park), home of GAA sport. If you fancy stretching your legs you'll find that the area is well within walking distance of the city centre, if not, it's well served by public transport links.
Although it's mainly a residential area you'll find plenty hotels, shops, pubs and restaurants here as well. Its location is a huge selling point, situated between Dublin Airport and the city centre. It's about 9km from the airport and only 2km from the heart of the city, making it an ideal base for checking out the sights and sounds of Ireland's vibrant capital, which include the bustling Temple Bar district, Trinity College, O'Connell Street, the city's main thoroughfare, the famous G.P.O building, Dublin Castle, the Guinness Storehouse, Smithfield Village, and of course, the endless shopping options on Grafton Street.

By bus: If you're travelling from the city centre the following bus routes will take you to Drumcondra - bus numbers 3, 11, 11A, 13, 13A, 16 and 16A from O'Connell Street.
By train: Drumcondra Railway Station reopened in 1998 as a station on the Maynooth/Longford commuter line. Connolly Station Dublin is approximately 2km from the Drumcondra area.
Dublin Airport to Drumcondra: The 16 or 16A bus will take you from Dublin Airport to Drumcondra Station. Buses run almost every 20 minutes.

Grafton Street is at the heart of Dublin city and merges the areas of St Stephens Green to the south and Trinity College to the north. It's a shopper's paradise and lays claim to being the busiest shopping street in Ireland. But Grafton Street offers so much more than retail therapy!
Grafton Street is Dublin's most fashionable and pedestrianised shopping street. Named after the Duke of Grafton, it was pedestrianised in the 1970's and is quite short in length. You can stroll its length in approximately five minutes, but you will be captivated by the atmosphere and the buzz! You'll probably spend a lot longer here than intended wandering in and out of high street stores, select designer boutiques, exclusive jewellers and watch out for those talented buskers! You might catch the next U2, Glen Hansard or Damien Rice in action! Afterwards you can grab a bite to eat in one of the trendy restaurants and cafes.
Where to shop...
Grafton Street is home to some of Dublin's most popular stores, including Marks and Spencer's, Brown Thomas, BT2, Vero Moda, Oasis, Next and River Island. Upmarket stores like Laura Ashley and Monsoon are also located here. Other nearby retail outlets include the Stephens Green Shopping Centre, the Powerscourt Shopping Centre and the Westbury Mall.
For music collectors, the former Woolworths building is now home to HMV where you'll find an extensive music library of performers past and present! Book enthusiasts can avidly browse Hughes & Hughes and The Dublin Bookshop in the Stephens Green Centre. Weirs Jewellers have a fabulous range of jewellery for the diamond collector! Note that most of the shops in and around Grafton Street open late on Thursdays.

Bewleys Oriental Cafe has long been a recommended place to dine - esteemed writer James Joyce used to frequent Bewleys. However, this Dublin landmark sadly closed in 2004 but was re-opened in a new format in 2005 as the Café Bar Deli.
No matter what type of food you're into you'll fid it on Grafton Street. From French cuisine at Leon Bistro, Italian food at Il Posto near St Stephens Green, and American cuisine at Captain America's Cookhouse and Bar, the place that brought the original burger to Ireland in 1971!
The surrounding streets are home to some of Dublin's most famous pubs including Davy Byrnes, The Bailey, Bruxelles, McDaids, and The International. Many of these pubs are shrouded in literary and other history. New pubs are the Café en Seine, Ron Blacks, Bordel, Break for the Border and don't forget the smallest pub in the whole of Dublin, the Dawson Lounge which offers cosiness in summer and in winter!

If some sight seeing is on the agenda, Grafton Street is close to the home of the Irish Government, Dail Eireann. Trinity College (where the Book of Kells is located), the Dublin Civic Museum, the Mansion House, The National Library and the National Museum are all a short walk away.
All year round (rain or sunshine) you'll see a variety of talented buskers, mime artists, poets and comics performing for the crowds along Grafton Street. This scene was brilliantly executed in "Once" starring Glen Hansard of the Frames, Oscar Winner 2008, who started his career on Grafton Street. Highly rated singer-songwriter Damien Rice, also performed during his fledgling musical career on Grafton Street.
There's a statue commemorating an iconic figure of Dublin, Molly Malone on Grafton Street The statue is located at the bottom of Grafton Street, opposite Trinity College. Molly Malone was a legendary figure that was commemorated in the song 'Cockles and Mussels', a Dublin anthem. She worked as a fishmonger and died in one of the outbreaks of cholera that frequently ravaged the streets of Dublin in the nineteenth century.
Phil Lynott, legendary singer of acclaimed Irish rock band Thin Lizzy, who died in 1986, has also had a statue erected in his memory near Grafton Street. This life-size bronze statue was unveiled on Harry Street, off Grafton Street near the Stephen's Green end, in August 2005.
Where to stay... There are plenty of excellent Dublin hotels to to choose from in and around the Grafton Street area. An excellent choice is the 5 star Westbury Hotel, just off Grafton Street, while the deluxe O'Callaghan Stephen's Green Hotel is located on St. Stephen's Green. One of the main questions people ask is 'When is the best time to go to Disney World ?'. That's a great question - with many answers.
It really depends on a few factors, most especially you - your schedule, time limitations and preferences.
Here are several questions to ask when deciding on a time to go to Disney World.
1) Do You Have Schedule Limitations?
For example, do you have to go when the kids are out of school (March break or in the summer for example)? You may only be able to take vacation from work during certain times of the year.
You may have to coordinate with your family or significant other to agree on a time that works best for everyone.
You may also be going to Disney World for a special occasion like a birthday, honeymoon or a special Disney festival.
In this case, you're obviously limited to specific times of the year. However, many people do have at least a little bit of wiggle room when it comes to planning their time to go - which leads to the next question:
2) What's Important to You?
Here's where it comes down to personal preference. You have several factors when choosing the best time to go to Disney World. The most important factors are:
#1 Price - There are certain times of the year where Disney resorts are cheaper than others. (Ticket prices don't tend to change throughout the year - although they usually rise with every year).
These cheaper seasons are obviously the less popular times (for example in January when less people are traveling or during the hot and rainy summer season).

On the flip side, Disney usually has some incredible special shows during these times so if you aren't too concerned about crowds and want a really special experience, you may want to hit the parks during the holidays.
If having smaller crowds is important to you, you may want to go around mid-January to Feb, Sept and immediately after Thanksgiving.
In January, people are trying to pay off their Christmas bills so they can't afford to go on vacation. In Sept, kids are back to school. And right after Thanksgiving, people are starting to gear up for Christmas. All these factors make for less crowded parks.
#3 Weather - While almost everyone loves sunny weather - there are certain times during the year that are hotter and stickier than others. There's also the rainy season to consider if you don't want to run into storms at Disneyworld.

The Cape Peninsula provides one of the world's most spectacular viewpoints - the rugged and unique Cape Point. Sir Francis Drake once described it as the fairest cape and, rich in history and legend, the treacherous waters surrounding it's rocky coastline are home to many shipwrecks. One of these was the legendary Flying Dutchman, which disappeared off Cape Point without a trace during a terrible storm in 1680.
Cape Point is situated in the Cape of Good Hope's Nature Reserve, about an hour's drive from Cape Town. Depending on how much time you have to spare, there are a few different routes you can take to reach Cape Point. The most direct route from the city centre would be to take the M3 and then the M4 at the M42 junction, following the False Bay road past Muizenberg, Fish Hoek and Simon's Town. A slightly longer, but even more spectacular alternative, would be to take the M6 through Hout Bay and along Chapman's Peak Drive. This is a well-known and very beautiful mountain pass built between 1915 and 1922, but with a drop of 150 m to the ocean below, definitely not for the faint-hearted. If you have a few hours to spare though, you can follow the Peninsula Circular Drive which will take you along both these routes.
More than half a million people travel to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve every year. Visitors can climb the 125 steps to the viewpoint on Cape Point Peak or sit back and relax on the funicular railway. 210 m above sea level, the viewpoint offers unrivalled vistas across Dias Beach and Cape Maclear to the west and the southern-most tip of the Peninsula. On a clear day, Cape Hangklip can be seen to the east as well as Danger Point which is about 80 km away. With its 40 km of unspoilt coastline, the reserve offers fantastic opportunities for outdoor activities. Apart from the many hiking trails, rock angling, swimming, snorkelling and diving are also possible. The old trawler Tania is a favourite destination for divers and the tidal pools at Buffels Bay are especially popular in the summer months.
Many local and overseas visitors flock to Cape Point during August and September for whale-watching, but there are also many other species to look out for all year round. Small numbers of Cape mountain zebra, springbok, eland and hartebeest roam free on the reserve, but you are far more likely to see some of the many baboons who have taken sanctuary here. These baboons have actually adapted their diet to include seafood such as small crustaceans and limpets, which is extremely rare. Visitors beware though! The baboons can look very cute when they are begging for food, but few people realise how aggressive and dangerous they can be. Bread, crisps and biscuits are not easy for animals to digest anyway, so it's better to ignore them and pack your snacks away for your own safety as well as theirs.
The best months to visit the Cape are March, April, September and October. February is the hottest month of the year and cold, wet weather is normal for June and July. If you don't want to spend all day driving around in a hot car looking for a parking bay, avoid visiting in December at all costs!

The quaint little town of Knysna is the precious pearl of South Africa's beautiful Garden Route. Despite the huge number of tourists passing through each year, it has somehow managed to retain its charm and character. Apart from exquisite seafood dishes and the most spectacular sunsets, Knysna has a lot on offer for tourists. The Knysna Lagoon is part of the Knysna National Lake Area which was proclaimed in 1985 to protect the area from development. More than 200 fish species can be found in the lagoon, which is a magical mosaic of unspoilt, sandy beaches; reedbeds and mudflats. The sheltered and calm conditions are ideal for watersports, such as swimming, boardsailing and yachting.
The town itself has many shops and restaurants, but it is also worth taking a drive a few miles out along the George Road. There are literally hundreds of stalls were artists and craftsmen offer their goods for sale. Tourists are, of course, most welcome to stay for a while and watch them at work and bargaining is expected. Due to a perfectly placed look out point nearby, fantastic photos can also be taken of the river, the town and the lagoon.

There are also hundreds of spectacular caves, gullies and reefs to explore. If tourists aren't fortunate enough to spot a beautiful Knysna sea-horse while diving, they can try the lagoon's underwater world at Thesen's Jetty. While at on Thesen's Island, a visit to Jetty Tapas is highly recommended. It has always been famous for its seafood and jugs of sangria and the quality of the meals and service is just as good as it was 20 years ago.

The tour around the lagoon lasts approximately 2 hours and lunch or dinner and drinks are usually available throughout. Tourists are also given a lot of very interesting background information on the history of Knysna and the people who live there. During the cruise the guide will point out the Featherbed Nature Reserve to travellers and a separate trip can be arranged to explore this 70 ha private reserve. After being dropped off by a ferry, visitors are transported up the Western Head in a four-wheel-drive vehicle and then have the option of returning by vehicle or taking a guided walk of 1.5 miles along the Bushbuck Trail.
A trip on the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe (steam train), which travels between George and Knysna every day, is also a wonderful way to appreciate the breathtaking scenery of the area - forests and lakes on the one side and beaches and the lagoon on the other.
